My website has pretty much been at a standstill for a long time, so I finally decided on giving a redesign a try. Still not sure about this new layout and colorscheme, but at least the code behind is quite awesome.
I decided on inventing the wheel once more, so this version of the site doesn't rely on any kind of CMS or blogging engine. It's not that I don't like the ones out there, I just simply don't have the use for all those fancy features.
Also, this let me build my frontend from scratch, instead of having to deal with some kind of template system.
Anyways, I hope this will encourage me to begin actually using my website.
